Replacement of the air conditioning system
In some situations, it makes better sense to replace an older air conditioning system with a new, high efficiency unit. Replacement of the air conditioning system should be considered if the existing system is worn out or significantly under- or over-sized.
Repairing an existing air conditioning system may be the least expensive option at the time, but it may cost more in the long run. Paying for repairs on an older system may simply prolong the need for replacement and other system parts will be strained and negatively affected.
Installing a new, energy efficient system may be much more cost effective.
